We will have a modified practice schedule this week-end due to the swim meet Saturday, November 3: Senior, Junior, NPG, High School practice is canceled. Silver Rec & Silver Competition will swim 8:30-9:30 Sunday, November 4: Scarlet 1, 2 Gold practice is canceled Intro to Swim Team is canceled.  We will hold a make-up Saturday 8:30-9:30 or next Saturday 9-10 (you pick one that works). Senior, Junior, NPG, High School - NO change

We have added quite a few team items to our custom shop at SwimOutlet.    All of these items utilize our team logo.  We also anticipate adding items with an alternative logo with the words Buckeye Swimming and no USA code (our USA code is BKYS).  Those should be available late next week. All cap and shirt orders must be placed by Friday--update!! SUNDAY 11/4 IS THE NEW DEADLINE, you should have received this on 10/30 & did not. Check the condition of your cap - we likely will not place another order until January of 2020!  Every swimmer receives a free t-shirt with registration.  Parents can also order a t-shirt! This years shirt will be a Gildan 8000 5.5oz 50/50 DryBlend in Graphite Heather. Our logo will be on the front of the t-shirt. The swimmer's shirts will say 'Fearless in the Pursuit' on the back. Parents shirts will say 'Fearless in the Bleachers' on the back. Parent shirts are $10 each and can be ordered on our website. DO NOT ORDER A SHIRT FOR YOUR SWIMMER! We are currently working on earning our SafeSport Team credentials.   To do so, each of our swimmers age 12-over and parents need to take this online course. Please do so at your earliest convenience. The meet deadline was Monday (last night).  Several swimmers did not respond to the invite.  This is a reminder that you must respond that you either will or will not attend before the deadline.  If you meant to sign up and did not you have just a few more hours to email Laurie and get in the meet.

PROGRAM   October 28, 2018   EIGHTH ANNUAL JOSE CERDA MEMORIAL SWIM CLINIC CHAMPION ATHLETES SHORT BIOGRAPHIES ZANE GROTHE 2018 PAN PACIFIC GOLD MEDALIST MARGO GEER   2018 PAN PACIFIC SILVER MEDALIST Hometown:   Boulder City, Nevada.   Birth date: April 22, 1992.   College:   Auburn University ‘14 Zane had his first swimming lesson at 6 weeks old to learn water safety.   He attended Boulder City High School and graduated in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University in 2014.   Zane swims 13,000 yards/meters a day ... 4 hours a day ... 2 workouts a day, 6 days a week. Zane won gold in the 800 freestyle; silver in the 1500 and bronze in the 400 at the Pan Pacific Championships held in Tokyo, Japan in August 2018.    He was the champion in the 400m and 800m free at 2018 Phillips 66 Nationals and set the American records in the 500y and 1650y free at the 2017 Winter National Cha
