Congratulations to all of our swimmers on a fantastic showing at the Bowling Green Holiday Invite. We were very pleased with the swimmers preparation prior to the meet. The swimmers were relaxed in the team area and shared a lot of smiles between races. We had two swimmers set new team records at the meet. Andrew Huang captured the 25 free with a 14.01 and Kaitlyn Sallows shattered an 18 year old record in the 500 free with a 6:03.20!
Our first swimmer of the meet is Savannah Cornelius! Savannah swam best times in all of her events and dropped a whopping 10 seconds in the 50 breast! She has worked hard not improving her technique which is really showing. Keep up the good work Savannah!
Our next swimmer of the meet is Piper Lorentz! Piper also swam best times in all of her events dropping 5.5 seconds per 100. Piper has come a long way since the beginning of the year and shows huge leaps forward every week. Way to go Piper!
Our last swimmer of the meet recognition goes to Sebby Martin! Sebby has worked very hard over the past six months to change his understanding of swimming and his technique. It is finally starting to show at meets with some terrific drops. Sebby had four best times and paced a terrific 500 on his first attempt! Congratulations Sebby!
Keep up the good work and smiles Buckeyes! We coaches are proud of each of you. GO BUCKEYES!!
