Spring Swimming begins April 17

Spring swimming begins Monday, April 17.  The google calendars have been updated with our schedule.  Last day of spring is June 2.  Last day of summer is your last meet - this is typically in mid July for our swimmers. FEES Spring & Summer fees for Silver and Scarlet will be invoiced next week.  We are currently reviewing our invoicing process to make sure we are utilizing the most efficient and most secure processing system available to our budget. Once that review is finished invoices will be published and emailed to each family.   Spring fees (or 1/2 of your combined spring summer fees) will be due by April 24.  The remainder of your summer fees will be due June 9.  If you would like to break your fees into smaller payments, please email.

Spring & Summer Swimming

A big thank you to everyone that emailed by the March 15 deadline to indicate their participation in spring/summer.  We will now move everyone that did not send an email or is not participating in spring /summer into an inactive group on Active.  This will make room in our full group for new swimmers.  This will also take you off of our Active.com email list, but will keep you on this email list.  If you want to be removed from all emails, simply scroll to the bottom of this and click unsubscribe.   If you are continuing, you will receive information about how to pay fees next week (this information does not apply to continuing seniors & juniors).

February Swimmers of the Meet

What an absolutely fantastic February of swimming our Buckeyes put together.  We had a lot of racing with our 14-unders at the Dayton Raiders & Regional Championships and our High School swimmers finishing the school season with Sectionals, Districts and States! Our Age Group swimmers kicked off the month by traveling to our favorite hosts, Dayton Raiders.  The single age meet is a great confidence builder with many of our swimmers qualifying for finals.  We were super proud of our swimmers efforts in the pool and their terrific support of each other throughout the week-end.  two swimmer stood our with BIG meets. First, Elena Benz, age 8, competed in her first 100 free, 50 breast and 50 fly AND earned best times in the 50 free, 50 back and 100 IM.  This is Elena's first winter of swimming, and she has come a long way from her first meet this past fall. Way to go Elena!  Next, Wyatt Hanley, age 11,  had a HUGE meet with best times in 7 of his 8 swims and and finals in all swim

Our spring & summer information is now available.  This includes the spring schedule, group & fee information.  The summer schedule is still being finalized but will be similar to last summer. We are thrilled to announce that we have signed a one year agreement with the Sports Club for continued use of their facilities.  We continue to keep conversations open with MC Fitness although they have moved to a 12& over rental platform. Our group system remains largely intact, with further delineation within each program.  This will help us give each swimmer the best training they need for their interests, age, and abilities.  Group recommendations were emailed through the Active Portal. Note: Scarlet, Junior & Senior groups are competitive training programs with a focus on succeeding in USA Swimming competitions.  These groups are a spring AND summer commitment with an expectatio
