We are excited to announce the 6th annual Columbus Youth Triathlon & Duathlon on Aug 12th!! Here are the key details

·   What: Columbus Youth Triathlon

·   When: Saturday, August 6th starting at 9AM – 10:30 AM

·   Where: Powell Adventure Park - 260 Adventure Park Drive, Powell, OH 43065

·   Race Details: 4 Race Options (1) Youth Triathlon (6-18), (2) Youth Duathlon (6-18), (3) Kids Splash N Dash – no swimming! (ages 3-18), and (4) Foam / Grab the loot Run .5 miles or 1 mile (any age)

·   What you receive:  T-shirt, beach ball at finish line, free kids meal at 101 Beer Kitchen, and 1 free pass to Barre3! 

·   Create a team – have others register – the team that gets the most to register receive 8 free tickets to the Clippers game on Sunday, Aug 20th plus $10 per person to the game room at Grand Prix Racing! (up to 20)

The Pollock Family has donated about 60 t-shirts sporting the new team logo to our Booster Club. The shirts come in a variety of colors and sizes. Each family will have their chance to pick ONE shirt on Monday or Tuesday at practice. On Wednesday, any shirts remaining will be available to anyone. Mandatory SafeSport Training for Parents and Athletes

Every two years USA Swimming requires each SafeSport designated club to refresh their policies and renew their education base. As one of the first 50 clubs in the country to hold the SafeSport designation, Buckeye is continuing to lead the way in creating multiple paths towards protecting our athletes in and out of the water.  We have completed every step to renew our designation except education.  It is now time for each parent  on our team and swimmers 12 and over   to take the SafeSport course.  In order to do so you must have an account at USA Swimming.   Parents:   please take the course while waiting at practice or meet warmups.  It's quick and very informative.   Swimmers: this is a great way to spend your drive time to the pool (if you aren't driving of course).
