Olympic Trials Swimming Brackets

Buckeye Swim Club Boosters, Inc.

This is our last major fundraiser of the season! This is a FUN way to raise funds and engage our swimmers (and parents!) in the US Olympic Trials.  The US uses Olympic trials to select our Olympic Team!

Please review the square poll forms for instructions on how buyers can win.  Return all sold/unsold forms to practice on or before Wednesday, June 9, 2021.  This timeframe allows enough time for unsold squares to still be sold by others, if needed.

We would love to see each swimmer sell 2 squares.

Women's Form
Men's Form

·       If you have a person that is interested in purchasing a bracket poll sheet, each square poll form costs $50.  Be sure to clarify if they want a men's or women's bracket.

o   Cash or Checks are acceptable.  Checks can be made out to - “Buckeye Swim Club Boosters, Inc.”

·       Please have the buyer fill out the contact information on the bracket poll sheet with all the requested information (Name, Address, Phone Number, Email, and electronic payout account information if they have it).

·       When the form is received, it will be marked with the next sequential number (1-100).  Each number represents a specific space on the board.

·       After all squares are sold, tenths and hundredths of seconds numbers will be chosen and photo of the completed board will be emailed and/or texted to buyers so they can follow each event as they take place.

·       Please return all completed forms to Coach Laurie or Ron Sallows with payment.

·       If all squares are sold, $2,500 will be given to offset fees for the National Program and Boosters Activities.

Thanks for helping us with this fundraiser.

If you have any questions, please contact Ron Sallows at (740) 972-2194 or

Extra T-Shirts

The Pollock Family has donated about 60 t-shirts sporting the new team logo to our Booster Club. The shirts come in a variety of colors and sizes. Each family will have their chance to pick ONE shirt on Monday or Tuesday at practice. On Wednesday, any shirts remaining will be available to anyone. A donation to the booster club for your shirt is optional. The kids are now receiving their team t-shirts that were made exclusively for kids and coaches. Kast-A-Way has not yet printed our red t-shirts, if you would like to order one I suggest you call today. These shirts are being printed on a light weight t-shirt from Sport Tek.

Coach of the Year

Dear Coach, Hope this email finds you well and enjoying the summer. We are writing today on behalf of the upcoming feature film COACH OF THE YEAR: an independent, kid-friendly sports comedy feature film based on the inspiring true story of a rag tag swim team that tries to win a state championship…without a pool to practice in. Director Dave Stott, who has coached swimming for twenty years, hopes that with this film, we will entertain and inspire kids all over the country to learn to swim. Another goal of this film is to raise awareness about drowning as the leading cause of accidental deaths and to help kids all over the country learn to swim safely. The underdog story has been told before, but not for our sport. This is a movie for swimmers (and would-be swimmers), made by people who know the sport intimately and love it passionately, and we’d love for you to be involved. We wanted to ask you and your team to help spread the word about COACH OF THE YEAR, and get you & you

Is my child ready to swim meets?

We had a coaches discussion on this  - and yes, all of our Elite group swimmers are ready for meets.  Please look at the meet calendar and sign up for the days that you are available.  We will pick events that are appropriate for your swimmer.  We pick events that your child can do well and will build their confidence.  We also believe strongly in placing your child in events that will challenge them.  While we strive for excellence, making a mistake in an event is OK and can be a great learning experience.  Trying and failing is teaches a lot more  about your abilities than not trying at all.
